I deserved to get blasted this week. Only an idiot would bench a wr that gets 3 tds in a game.

I demand a recount. I made the blunder of the week...ITs only a miracle that I won....by one point!

Welcome to the 700 FFL Holiday Edition

Week 11 Recap:

Stud Player(s) of the Week-

D Brees 37 pts (In a shocker neither Alexander or LT lead the charge this week instead its Drew who threw for 340 yds and 4 TD's. A stellar day for the QB not named Manning much to the chagrin of NotoriousEAG.)

Honorable mentions- L. Johnson 33 pts (The Penn State alum rushed for over 200 yards and 2 TD's keeping pace where Priest left off.)

Dud Player of the Week- Buff Defense -3 pts (Just got steamrolled for 48 points on the road. Not much more you can say about that.)

Dishonorable mention- S. Jackson -1 pt(The normally stout RB came up short this week not even breaking 10 yards rushing, managed a fumble and missed a blocking assignment that got his QB nearly killed.)

A.W.O.T.W- TheHulksters 58 pts (It was the Big Green Homer Machines turn to take it on the chin this week. BD's taking delight in destroying his opponents and watching the Eagles season go down the drain. A ominous sign of things to come for the Eagle Homers for the rest of the year.)

C.O.T.W- InappropiateComets (Jerobi goes on a mini streak and keeps himself on pace for first place. Can he overtake the evil empire?)

Coaching Blunders of the week- BISC Shipbuilders (Picked up a defense in GB and benched then you go out and get the waiver wired gem of the week then you don't play him? Hello? Why get the guy and then bench him? That 24 pts sure would have helped with a check mark in the W column. Which brings me to...)

Waiver Wire Gems of the Week- M. McMahon 24 pts (Eminem goes for almost 300 yards, a Passing and a Rushing TD. Too bad BISC didn't play his great pick-up otherwise he would be climbing the ladder to a possible late play-off push instead of a fall to bottom of the heap.)

Honorable mention- M Barber 17 pts (The Dallas RB rushes for 2 TD's and 50 yards. Helping Aiborne Eagle get another victory and maintain his playoff seating. It also helps him evade Blunder of Week by not playing I Bruce againest a weak Arizona secondary.)

Waiver Wire Pieces of Coal- B Franks 0 pts
(Glenn is trying everything he can now to salvage his season including picking up waiver wire help. He gets the victory this week but with no help from Franks who had a whopping 9 yards of total receiving in the game.)

"Revenge is a dish....."
Despite the holiday cheer and goodwill brought on with Thanksgiving. Its not cornbread stuffing and giblet gravy that Glenn is looking to dish out this week. Its a heaping serving of beatdown that he wants to give to Team Big Green. Still stinging from the 3 pt week one loss the AAA crew wants revenge and wants to add to the 2 game skid TheHulksters are on right now.

"Logjam"
There are 4 teams with the same record of 7-4. There is gonna be a battle to see who ends in the 3-6 spot. Only 50 pts seperate the teams, lets see who rises to the top.)

Thanks. Some weeks are better than others. It depends on how busy I am at work. My company has been nuts and expecting me to actually do stuff when I am here. The nerve.

How lucky did I get?!? I beat AE after Tatum BITCH decided he chest hurt and he couldn't play... a game time scratch... (he's a BITCH) but I won without him... Hell in another league I also have him and won by a few points and STILL have Manning to play tonight...

Welcome to the 700 FFL

Week 12 Recap:

Stud Player(s) of the Week-

L Tomlinson 38 pts (You seriously thought LT was gonna be held out of the stud line-up two weeks in a row? Just when you think you have him contained he busts out. Just ask the vaunted Redskin D who let another get away from them.)

Honorable mentions- C. Palmer 31 pts (The striped one shows that he is the real deal lately and throws for over 300 yards passing and three touches of the down variety.)

Dud Player of the Week- J Bettis 0 pts (The wheels on the bus were in reverse while playing on the Indianaopolis turf. The quick closing Colts D held Bettis in check all night.)

Dishonorable mention- J. Feely/J. Reed 8,1pt (It was not a good week for some kickers. I am sure Feely has trash on the lawn after blowing a kick in regulation and 2 in OT that would have finished off the hot Seahawks. Reed missed a field goal that would have changed the complexion of Monday nights game.)

A.W.O.T.W- Chinatown Cowbells 75 pts (This week its the red hot Brickhouses and not the Darksiders that hand out the whuppin this week. Hooky takes his merry band of Masons and tramples Ubers Cowbells like a teenage retail worker at a Black Friday morning sale.)

Dishonorable mention- SkillzfromPhilly 31 pts(Skillz gets a small dose of the Darkside. He has a good squad but the tough break (no pun intended) of losing Leftwich didn't help his cause.)

C.O.T.W- F-wood Brickhouses (Hookys out to show he is the real deal and that despite Jerobi's and BD's lofty position he is the team to watch. His 4 game win streak is league best and with Peyton being backed up by Palmer he could be the darkhorse of the playoffs.

Coaching Blunders of the week- Buck o' Five (The stat man was not able to avoid the watchful eye of the Recap man this week as he sits Mcnair againest a weak SF secondary that has been giving it up in the air like a drunken prom date. This misstep caused the sibling rivalry to fall in Tatts favor this week as he upsets his older bro.)

Dishonorable mention-Drunken Kennedys (If Talon played Greg Jones who is a speeedster and good for at least 8-9 pts a week he might have tied or even won.)

*Special Dishonorable Mention- Bill Cowher (Captain Spit must have went to the Andy Reid School of Playcalling when he decided to open the second half with a onsides kick. Brilliant)

Waiver Wire Gems of the Week- Minnyhaha D 19 pts (Talon regains his waiver wire wizard status as he picks up the Minnesota D, too bad it wasn't enough for the win.)

Honorable mention- E Parker 10 pts (The SD reciever is a viable option for Brees when LT and Gates aren't beating teams into submission.)

Waiver Wire Pieces of Coal- M Jone 0 pts
(Skillz probably wishes that he played Marcus Robinson now since the converted QB was only able to come up with a whopping 7 yards of receiving. )

"Clinched...."
The top two teams the Darksiders and InappropriateComets have clinched playoff spots.

"Final Push"
Going into the final week before playoff positions are set for the remaining teams. Who will fight their way up to the top? Can Jerobi overtake BD? Can Hooky continue his long streak or will the Hulksters bust through and stop them?

Welcome to the 700 Level FFL

Week 13 Final Reg. Season Recap:

Stud Player(s) of the Week- Sea Defense 44 pts (Pitched a shut-out, had their rookie look like a HOF. 4 picks, 2 FF, 3 TD's....Nightmare on Broadstreet.)

Honorable mentions- L. Evans 29 pts (Evans who only had three TD's all season explodes for three touches down in one game and a very effecient 117 yds on just 5 catches.)

Dud Player of the Week- Pitt Def -3 pts(The normally stout Steel Curtain was more like tissue paper as the allowed T.J Houzhoweverthehelluspellit, Chad and Rudi Johnson to run all over them. Essentially being a coronation for the Bengals into elite status in the AFC.)

Dishonorable Mention- Michael McMahon -1 pt(61 passing yards, 2 INT's and 14 rushing yards don't even begin to fully explain the absolute ineptitude of the QB's in last nights game. The person everyone cheered about in the offseason as a great pick-up played like a scared little girl, missing prgressions, throwing behind recievers and over their heads. Helping to contribute in one of the worst losses in Eagle history on what was suppose to be a night memorializing one of its great past players.)

A.W.O.T.W- BISC's Shipbuilders 74 pts (The BISC's Shipbuilders were looking forward to bottles of champagne being broken as they set out on their maiden 700 FFL voyage this year. Instead it ended abruptly at a 74 pt barrier reef of beatdown by Tattoo's Inked Up land mass.)

Dishonorable mention-
The Drunken Kennedys (Talons campaign trail ends in a 5 game losing streak and while he didn't win the 700 Level Championship this year he did get Birddroppings nomination to be the runner up for A.W.O.T.W- Congrats!!)

C.O.T.Y- F-wood Brickhouses (The Coach of the Year is....*drum roll*- Hooky and his F-wood Brickhouses. The Hookmeister kept true to his word from last year when he vowed that he would arise from his 4 win season and make the playoffs this year. He drafted well and ended the season with a league best 5 win streak to move up to the third place spot. Can he unseat the top seeds and make his way to the Championship?)

Coaching Blunders of the week- SkillzofPhilly (Skillz love of the Eagles and homerside was his final downfall as he benches Sea D for the Eagles D. The 44 pts would have not only sealed the victory for the week 13 match up but also bumped Airborne from the playoffs and placed SFP there instead. Just one more person ultimately screwed by the Eagles again.)

Dishonorable mention- Andy Reid (How do you allow your team to quit on you when its suppose to be a night you remember one of the greatest Eagle players of all time? QB's who throw INT's right into the hands of DB's and safeties. WR's who don't fight for balls thrown to them. Players like Mahe just stealing paychecks. One of the worst seasons ever and all he is has to say is that everything falls on him. Pathetic.)

Waiver Wire Gems of the Week- TB Defense 17 pts (Tattoo goes out and makes a great pick up and ends on a high note of a 2 game win streak. Unfortunately it was a little too late for his Inked Up squad to get out of the basement.)

Honorable mention-D Gerrard 16 pts (Skillz gets a good last minute pick up for his injured Leftwich and does the no brainer move of getting his back-up. Skillz gets a runner up on waiver wire gem of the week as his final swan song.)

Waiver Wire Pieces of Coal- D. Akers 0 pts
(Not really Akers fault when the team plays like crap, but he gets the untimely distinction of being a piece of coal while the rest of his team mates played like a piece of .......)

Waiver Wire Wizard of the Year-Drunken Kennedys (Talon proved all year he had a eye for picking diamonds in the rough. Unfortunately his keen eye was not enough to get him into the playoffs but he does have the notoriety of winning Wizard of the year. Please e-mail Hooky and Johnson for your free wizard hat from Spencers and a $2 off coupon of the Harry Potter box set.)

"Playoffs!"- This is the last of the regular season recaps. In the quarterfinals the #1 and #2 seeds get a bye. So Birdroppings Darksiders and Jerobi's InappropriateComets get to rest their starters this week and watch the other 4 teams battle it out to make it to the Semis. Its (4)Rosenwhores headed by coach Johnson againest (5) TheHulksters. In our primetime game its the streaking (3) F-wood Brickhouses headed up by coach Hooky vs the Buck o'Five team coached by Airborne Eagle.

Lets get it on!!!
