Mr. Commissioner, this was brought up in the pre-draft email conversation. I do believe you agreed to institute it and even asked everyone if a one-day waiver period would be okay. So where is it?

Once again, people who go to the games will be at a major disadvantage to those who sit at home, glued to their computer screen. The central PA bias is looking obvious...

Ummmm Talon,

The commish can confirm this but I believe it a player is a free agent then he can be picked immediately. If they were on another team and dropped/released then the one day waiver wire rule applies. I am pretty sure this is the case because when I reaqcuired B. Stokely the system made me wait a day (assuming to cleae waivers) before it let the transaction go through. In years past that transaction reflected immediately on your roster. Just sayin.

No right wing central PA bias/conspiracy.

I guess it works differently on Sportsline. In my other league all rosters are frozen over the weekend, and you can put in claims but can't pickup any free agents until waivers are processed early Wednesday morning.

There is a waiver wire.

Maybe you need to learn what a waiver wire is.

Central PA rules!

Forgive me, asshole, but I've been playing on Sportline:

If a player is a Free Agent while games are in process, he will be on waivers until
Midnight Tuesday/Wednesday to 6:00:00 AM ET Wednesday morning.
Waivers will never run on days NFL games are played.
You can claim players while games are in progress, but the first waivers run of the week will always be Tuesday night/Wednesday morning, so Wednesday is the earliest day you'd be awarded a player in any week.

The same rules apply to NFL.com (the fantasy football league sponsored by the National Football League) as well.
