700 Level FFL Recap 06'

Week 5 (Cream Rising to the Top....):

Stud Player(s) of the Week- D Mcnabb 30 pts (#5 continues on his MVP like play as he throws for over 350 yds, 2 passing and 1 rush td.)

Honorable mentions- Minesotta D 26 pts (Its a return to the Purple People Eater D as the Minnyhaha crew causes 4 turnovers and scores 2 def td's. Helping the robed ones eek out a win over the First State drunkards.)

Dud Player of the Week- M. Lewis 0 pts(No not Michael Lewis the saftey for the Eagles, although his PI on Glenn almost tied the game and was bone headed. I mean the NYJ tight end who got a big goose egg like the rest of his team. )

Dishonorable Mention- R William 0 pt (The outstanding wideout took a 7 yard slant, got smashed and was not to be heard from the rest of the day. Too bad for GGB as he loses by 2 measley points.)

A.W.O.T.W- Ubie Brothers 37 pts (Hooky tired of getting beat on for the last couple of weeks dishes out a healthy dose of whoop ass on his site admin.)

Dishonorable mention-
CheapGin&DietSprite 35 pts (TheHulksters only partake of fine spirits and so gave the cheap bottom shelfers a visit behind the woodshed.)

Waiver Wire Gems of the Week- Denver D (The Prince of Pessimism birddroppings goes out and covertly grabs one of the top D's in the league without anyone noticing.)

Honorable mention- J Kasay 8 pts (NovaEagle goes out and picks up a reliable kicker in Kasay. Also picks up his second win of the season and looking forward to getting to .500)

Waiver Wire Pieces of Coal- D Bledsoe 8 pts (Birddroppings is kicking himself for benching P Rivers and going out and picking up the Statue. Its only fitting that he and T.O both blame him Bledsoe for their loss and got to see him throw a back breaking game ending INT instead of Mcnabb this go round. )

C.O.T.W- Coach of the week honors goes to LV Eagles and his LV Chicken crew who after an embarrassing week 1 loss come roaring back to be the only team with a 4 game win streak. Can he keep it up?

"Church Mice" Are you guys even reading these reviews? Are you alive out there? No smack talk, nothing! I guess you all are gonna just let me steamroll the side and take the 700 FFL Chip without a sweat. Stomping on you all like Rick James treats white couchs. Bitches!!!

I am reading and enjoying. Nice work. I will win this league, though. We've been through this before, but check the points.

I can't decide if I am worried or not this week. Point's leader=1 win? It seams like this team always plays everyone on their best week. Maybe all the bye week players will get me, but the trend is in my favor.

No shit, and it looks like it might happen again. Are you kidding me, am I gonna be first in points and 1-5? If this were a pay league I'd be looking to go on a murder spree.

You won't be first in points in the league unless your kicker has a monster day. I believe Nova will overtake you after his asswhoopin' of epic proportions. I think your kicker would have to kick like 7 field goals in order for you to keep the lead.

Imagine id I had started Bulger and Reggie Brown--I would have been close to 175.

I don't get FF this season. Most of the RBs are either having bad seasons, inconsistent seasons, injury prone or just can't find the endzone-wierd stuff.

700 Level FFL Recap 06'

Week 6 (They were what we thought....):

Stud Player(s) of the Week- L Tomlinson 37 pts (LT goes off on the hapless SF defense as he hits paydirt 4 times)

Honorable mentions- T Holt 33 pts (It seems as if all the big time players were on NovaEagles teams. Holt goes for over one hundred fitty yards and 3 tds)

Dud Player of the Week- R Grossman -7 pts(4 Ints and 2 fumbles in what should have been a lost. Lucky for him the defense and special teams saved him)

Dishonorable Mention- T Gonzalez 1 pt (The one time fantasy stud has been practically invisible last year and the beginning of this year.)

A.W.O.T.W- Ubie Brothers 60 pts (Uber has gotten enough grief. 60 pt lost and David Carr as your starter are enough abuse.)

Dishonorable mention-
Hellertown Holla 16 pts (Not as overwhelming as NovaEagles win but a double digit whipping none the less.)

Waiver Wire Gems of the Week- T Henry 23 pts(The Holla crew go out and get a dependable RB who scores a ton of points off the waiver wire. Unfortunately it came up a little short againest the rumble boys)

Honorable mention- J Scobee (Cheap Gin is looking to get himself out of the cellar by improving his kicking game)

Waiver Wire Pieces of Coal- N/A

C.O.T.W- TheHulksters Can the last one lost team keep the win streak going or will the high flying high scoring NovaEagles put it all to a abrupt end?

"Points But No Wins" Another year that GGB and his team scores high and beats up the other team in a win but those come far and few between.

"Frauds"- Regardless of what their record is I think the Cardinals gave a blue print on how to win againest the Bears.

Holy shit, I can't believe I lost that game to Nova. I actually went out to set my lineup, thinking I'd won. If this had been a money league I would be PISSED at not even getting to the f'ing semifinals with the team I had.

What's even stranger is that the team with the lowest point total in the league, possible in Fantasy Football history, is in the semifinals.

Ubertarians ... rock rock on!

I was watching the MNF game and when Bulger threw that 2nd TD to Holt, I knew I had a chance. When he threw that pick at the end, I was pretty sure GGB had won and I went to bed. Unreal.

I may have finished up short in the 700 level league, but in my other three leagues (work, friends, public) I am champ, champ, and champ.

Here's to a great Eagles playoff run.
