I remember bd doing something like this a few years back. I'm sure he did it closer to gametime, but I have work this weekend, so no love. Here's my 2 cents.
Week 1: Eagles @ Texans
Apparently, John Madden et al doesn't agree with Fat Andy because the pass doesn't set up the run in Madden 07. McNabb was horrible in the first half, missing the broad side of a barn on several occasions. The only thing working was Westbrook out of the backfield, so I plugged him. A late 8 yard scamper made it 13-3 at the half. McNabb finished the first half with a 33 rating on 18% passing with no TDs and an INT.
The second half looked a lot better for McNabb, who used the running threat to open up some play action fakes down the field to LJ Smith (34 yards), Stallworth (64 yards), and even Baskett (63 yd TD). The rout was on. The defense had been hot all day with 6 sacks (4 from Kearse) and an INT. Houston may have had fewer than 5 first dows the whole game. McNabb finished 55% passing for 301/2/1 before giving way to Jeff Garcia in the fourth. The team finished with 129 yds russhing, 70 from Westbrook.
Eagles win in a rout 34-3.
