I'm relatively new in the Philadelphia area, and I'm getting a fantasy league organized. Question for you guys- where is a good location to hold a draft that any of you have used? I guess we're looking for a lively atmosphere, but not so loud that you gotta scream at each other. Also available beer/food would be a plus. We're in the King of Prussia area, but I'll take any suggestions in the area. Thanks.

Good beer/food locations would be Chili's, Brew Moon in the KoP mall (I think that the name of this place has changed since I lived there, but it's still a brewery in the mall), Hooters, maybe TGIFriday's in the mall. All of them have tables that you can fit a bunch of guys at.
Are these the kind of places you're looking for? They're all in KoP, and probably within walking distance of where you live, since the town isn't that big.

EagleNY,
Here’s what I do;
I host the draft at my home. (Been doing it for about 15 years.) Actually, the draft is conducted in my garage at high noon. Stay with me here, … there’s some pre-draft strategy involved. The garage is not air-conditioned and is usually very hot outside and within the garage. Anyway, since I’m “such a nice guy”, I always make certain that there’s plenty of ice cold brewskis available. And since I’m such a good host, I demand that each guest take advantage of my hospitality. (Keep a beer in their hand at all times!) Well, by say the sixth round, you’ll notice that some of the owners will begin making questionable “beer picks”. Oh, … another thing, … We usually lay out a pretty nice spread for the guys but remember, never, and I repeat never, serve the food before the 14th round. Since the draft begins at 12:00 noon, most of the owners haven’t eaten lunch yet. By the time the 14th round rolls around with five or six brews on an empty stomach you’ll also begin to witness people attempting to draft players that were drafted by another owner three rounds ago. At that point the draft is yours. Enjoy, drink up, you’ll be thanking me when week 17 is completed.
BTW, it’s also much cheaper than each fella blowing $30 - $50 on food and drink in an establishment and you’ll have just as much fun.

Im the commish of my work league- we took a poll, and Hooters in KOP was the choice.
It was great. The wings of course were awesome, we had a large party so we were comped some pitchers here and there, and the table was never without beer, food, napkins, whatever you might need- the service was top notch.
I dont think we made a reservation but I honestly dont recall.
It wasnt too loud either, as some Hooters are- the KOP one is a semi-corporate demographic their lookin for, so its not Nascar noisey, if youve ever been to the down by the DE MEM BRIDGE, you know what i mean by that.
Dean= some leagues, you just cant have at someone's home. Depends on the people, how close you are with them and many other factors. Youre lucky.

Thanks for the suggestions- I don't think my place is big enough to host a draft unfortunately (I just rent an apartment) so Hooters sounds right up my alley. Appreciate everyone's input.
BTW- Brew Moon is now known as Rock Bottom at KOP Mall, I believe. Nice place.

Plus the Hooters in KOP is WELL known. I used to live almost right across the street from it, and EVERYONE I talked to knew where it was. They didn't know where anything in KoP was except Hooters and the mall.
