Are you saying that you give yourself tattoos based on how long you've been married to Mrs AE?

FYI, 4.4 in madden is typically in the 84-88 range, 4.3 is the 89-93 range, and 4.2 is the 94-99 range.

To answer the question, the best way to get sacks is to:
A: Have a DE with strength. Speed and agility help, but the guy can't break a block if he's weaker than the lineman blocking him.
B: I use a lot of zones, mainly because when I'm killing whomever I am, I need to send 7-8 guys into coverage to stop the pass (which is all they do when they are down), and the blitz never gets there. Spread the line out when you do this, and for some reason, in the quarter, the left end seems to get a ton of sacks. My player there usually gets 12-15 sacks a season, while the other end gets 4-8 and the tackles average around 4-8. it also helps doing your homework, finding which lineman is weak on the other team, and sending a lot of guys that direction. That's usually good for 2-4 sacks a game plus turnovers. The guy MUST be lower than a 70 for that to work though, and the longer you play the fewer holes are on other teams.

Sign FA's for whatever they want WITH NO BONUS. trade them imediately for draft picks. Bunch draft picks to get a single, higher pick. Repeat process till you have 5-8 #1 picks. Trade 2-4 of them to get some superstar on another team that is getting paid shit (portis is a clear cut decision if you run the ball, I also like marceus wiley to go on the right side of the line). If the guy you want is down on the depth chart of the draft, trade down one slot and check up on him again, and pick up more picks. eventually, you'll have a bunch to trade up again to ge tmore 2-3rd rounders. always keep 3-4 picks that are in the 5-7 rounds, to sign guys to 250k contracts for 7 years and become career backups, with no bunus so they trade easily.

Bonus=no trade, No bonus=can cut/trade at will without implications.

If you are starting out a new team, it's worth it to get Leftwitch. He's at the perfect arm from the start, and awareness is the only thing he lacks, which is when the computer controls him.

Pick up Bethel Johnson for a 3rd rounder. Well worth the pick, and he's there for 4 years as a stud on the fly. Almost automatic touches down.
