I inked Buffalo's D and benched Chicago, crucial to my win this week.

Oh well. We didn't have enough gas for the last 6 weeks. Congrats to AE on a fine victory. Keyshaun Johnson!!?!?!?!??!?

I did enjoy your recaps, hulk...don't retire.

Looking forward to next year.

Good point on the Defensive pick-up AE. I t did notice it, but didn't want to be accused of giving kudos only to my friends again.

I think the 14 team system was good this year. Of course, the injuries around the league made the waiver wire more attractive.

At the end of the season, we should have a wrap up session so we know what we can improve on or keep next year.

I think after all was said and done the only beef I have was with the draft. But if we plan and set it up earlier we should be able to get a weekend date so everyone can do it possibly at a place or at home. Either way there won't be so much autodraft and waiver wire movement in the league. I think we should vote on the number of teams beforehand and set a date as to when you have to register. Once that is done the registered teams vote on number of positions and format. Personally I had no problem with the number of teams or lack of flex positions. But I am just one vote, everyone else can get their say. I also set a suggestion to Hooky and Johnson on prizes for a first, third and fifth place, but I am waiting to see on their decision. After all its their site, we are playing for free and they are donating the prizes, so its their call.

If the Eagles clinch homefield advantage soon, Skillz is going down in flames.

I like the 14 team format also. I know Seth wants me to kick his ass in this league also next year, to go along with our main league, so I don't know if someone will drop out or what or if we need to expand to divisions? The only rule I would like changed is that punt return for TD that does not go to your defense. That is horseshit. I understand if Yahoo cannot be set up to accomodate it but we could always do manual adjustments....no?

I agree with the number of teams - in the fantasy realm the NFL is the one I look forward to the most (thanks for the C.O.T.Y. - I couldn't believe I was starting E. Smith most weeks either!), and it's good that we can get so many 700Level regulars in the mix. It means that benches and wires are a little thinner, but that just ups the level of competition. I'm in a public league where you could grab a solid full team from the waiver wire right now (and that's no fun to see). Plus, the 8-team playoffs should be interesting. As far as positions and scoring, I think it was fine and wouldn't argue strongly for or against minor changes. As long as the scoring is in place a few days before the draft, everyone has a right to see it and there is no need to complain later during the season. All told, I think that went pretty well here.

My thanks go out to Hulk for a great year of weekly updates. I know he definitely put some time in to scan through the scores, wire moves, strategies, etc while still trying to get in a comment about most of the teams. That takes some real effort. I know I always kinda looked forward to Monday lunch hours to check it out.

I'll second that Jerobi. Hulk's wrap-up was very well done all season.

I can deal with 14 teams, I guess.

The only thing I really want changed is the flex position - to allow a team to start either 3 RBs and 2 WRs or 2 RBs and 3 WRs.

I would like a vote on the scoring rules also - seemed kind of brutal, but I'm used to fanball rules which are 1 pt. for 10 rushing/receiving and 1 pt. for 20 passing.

I can't believe it, I come through with the upset of the Hulksters, the only upset of the week... I'm shocked... I went to bed last night thinking screw Blaylock... figuring I had lost since they were ahead and seemed to be just hammerin the rock...

Let me save Hulk the trouble and award myself "Jack-Ass of the Year." Picked up the Panthers defense last week, assuming they'd be automatically inserted to my starting lineup-- no dice. Of course, they explode. I think with their points our game would've finished tied. Skillz would still have won on the tiebreaker, but regardless.

F Yahoo for not putting them in, F my stupid ass for trusting Yahoo.

Wow, just when people were beginning to think Skilz was finished his team pulls itself up by the bootstraps and takes off the Huggies...
