Should I make this trade?

This is in another non-700level league. At the end of this year, we are going to each keep one player, although we'll only be able to have that kept player for next season, and then he'll be released into the draft the following year.

Here's my current roster:
Steve McNair A QB
Dominick Davis A RB
Jamal Lewis A RB
Charles Rogers A WR
Tory Holt A WR
Kellen Winslow A TE
Josh Brown A K
Ravens A DST
Josh McCown RS QB
Stephen Jackson RS RB
Thomas Jones RS RB
Brandon Lloyd RS WR
Marty Booker RS WR
Antonio Gates RS TE

The guy I'm trading with is a Browns fan, and he is desperate for Winslow. Since I have Gates, I think I could afford to trade Winslow-- for the right price.

I am proposing trading Kellen Winslow, Stephen Jackson, and Josh McCown for Deuce McCallister, Marcus Pollard, and Jeff Garcia. I need to upgrade my backup QB, and Garthia would do that. Pollard fills the backup TE role, although he also has Itula Mili to offer. I think Winslow is going to have a very big year, and I also think Stephen Jackson is poised for great things this season. I also think that depending on how his season goes, Jackson could be a potential keeper player, although it will be hard to handover Jamal Lewis.

So I guess I have three questions:

1) Should I offer this trade as is?
2) Would I be better off offering Dominick Davis instead of Jackson?
3) It seems like trading Davis is a more risky trade, but if I have no other choice, is that trade worthwhile?

If you can get him to give up McAllister, do it!

And I wouldn't trade away a sure starter (Davis) for a potential starter (via injury to Faulk). However, if he's giving up McAllister, you get a stud starter.

If's he's desparate, throw a very adventagous trade, in your favor, at him. You never know.

No-brainer. McAllister is a top 5 RB, whereas even a top TE (other than Gonzalez)won't average more than 10 points a game. The other two guys you'd be dealing are question marks.

Damn liberals that can't think for themselves. Perhaps you could ask the government to intervene and help you out?

Just kidding, Talon, relax. I agree with ENY, this is a layup.

No, Tat. He balked at the last second. He loves Winslow and I decided to hang onto him until he heals because there aren't any worthwhile free agents right now. I'm hoping that the prognosis on McCallister gets worse and the report on Winslow gets better. Then I might be able to swing a injured player-for-injured player (plus maybe a toss-in on each side) trade.

Mr. Parade, could you recommend some good books? I'm guessing you don't have many dictionaries with proper spelling.

I wouldn't even bother responding to Senor Parade. His posts get deleted in bulk every time I get to my database tools, except for the ones where he says something stupid even for him and someone tears him up. Those I save.
