As first seed going into my playoff week I have to face McNabb, uhg, he'll probably outscore Manning this week. I think I'll live or die based on my WR decisions and my matchups make it TOUGH.
I'm starting Horn vs TB and need to decide on 2 more out of D Jackson @ Jets, Kennison vs Denver and Bryant vs. SD. I also have Burleson but I mostly ruled him out.
This is a TD league worth 6 while every 20 yards get you a point.
Any thoughts?

Tough call. As much as I hate going with a KC wideout, Kennison seems to find a way to be productive lately. At this point I'd say sit Bryant. A #3 QB will be at the helm, and while that usually means a team will be playing from behind and throwing the ball a little more, I wouldn't wager a playoff week on it.
I hope you and I are guessing right on Burleson in that guys with broken noses lose a little bit of their edge in a sport like football.

Kennison is a must-start and the other 2 are coin flips. I guess I would give a slight nod to Jackson if he is at home.

I'd consider Jackson if Abraham sits out. Crippling the pass rush might give the QB a half second or more.
Kennison vs. Champ Bailey with no Priest Holmes to worry about? Dunno.

Priest who??? Apparently you haven't seen the numbers Blaylock and LJ have been putting up since he went down. Gotta go Kennison and Jackson. The KC Def is invisible and almost always have games turn into shootouts and Jackson has found renewed life after the whole family tragedy thing. Look for him to ride that for at least another game. JMO.

Good thoughts all.
I had settled on Kennison and your confirmations are reassuring. Champ actually lined up vs Gonzalez 1st game of the season and Kennison had 100 yards though not making the endzone. He's also been stronger this later part of the season.
Jackson has been strong all year (his best game coming off crutches while he was on my bench :-p ) but I couldn't ignore the Jets stingy defense. I will have to look into that Abraham report. It's also AT the Jets and I worry about Jackson being in FL all week for funeral stuff. Upside is he may be acclamated to eastern time zone and rested for the game.
I was giving the edge to Bryant as hi IS the goto guy now for cleveland, he's at home and SD games can be a shootout where Jets games are lowscoring. Bryant had 2 brilliant games with both McCown and Holcomb. Of course, NE shut the whole team down this past weekend.
I think because of matchups and circumstances, it's a gamble between Jackson and Bryant, and I fully expect to go back and forth on it all week until I finally make a decision that will prove to be the wrong one. :)
Thanks for your thoughts guys. Share anymore you may have.

As far as Abraham (Jets), he's been declared OUT for week 15. No need to look it up.

Yegad, turns out Burleson was the right play, broken nose, fractured finger, seperated shoulder, Moss playing and all.
Neither of the two I racked my brain on did anything. :-p
