I think we all need to write a big thank you letter to the Florida media hack that brought us EG by advertising this site. I post to other message boards and there are some eg’s out there, but threads don’t take the wild turns like they do here because people just ignore these little pathetic outcries for attention (which I am fueling right now by even talking about this idiot). Here for some reason certain people just can’t lay off and that is what is ruining threads. We have long time posters encouraging and fueling this crap on an almost daily basis. In fact, these same people have made this place less entertaining even when EG was banned. I realize the personal issue you have with this. Lines were crossed and I certainly don’t blame you or others that were harassed. But now, this has moved into ignore it and it will go away mode. Maybe if we all chip in and donate some money, the guys can find the time and people to install an ignore feature like other sites have. I have a short list of who would be immediately added. Until such time, be your own ignore police and if others who have added some value here do the same, maybe the thread ruining will improve.

It is not just a S736 issue, for 1. I appreciate your suggested method, and again, Im all for the non ban policy that has been here since inception.

I think that this place being so diferent ( level vs other sites) is 1 reason why this creatin should go. It sends a message, both to "would be" EGs, and more importantly the day to day users of the site.

This guy doesnt follow the normal pattern of "ignore and he will go away".

It detracts from peoples enjoyment of the site. And I am not certain what you mean by certain regs making the site less enjoyable, I honestly dont, but are you sayin that his being banned in the winter was a bad thing? Do you feel he added something to the site?

He, she, it adds nothing. The certain regulars that I am talking about are ones who:
A. Keep responding to this idiot.
B. Turn every thread into an insult match or pissing contest even when EG wasn’t here.
Ban him, fine. But there will be more just like him. It is inevitable. Trolls leave when they aren’t acknowledged.

the ignore feature you suggested sounds like a great idea, munch. each user could essentially select who they will or won't listen to.

Bottom line- you displayed traits that go far beyond internet "rabble rouser"- you stalked, harrassed, committed identity fraud, insinuated yourself into peoples personal lives-involving their families.

When you go out of your way to obtain information on a person (that they don't WANT you to have) with the INTENT to harass someone, THAT is a form of stalking. Whether it was harrassment or stalking is neither here nor there, BOTH are illegal and BOTH are grounds for obtaining a restraining or no contact order.
Did you or did you NOT go out of your way to find our phone number, and proceed to get my (then) 8 year old son on the phone to obtain Seth's WORK phone number so that you could leave voice mails? Did you or did you NOT do that? Did you NOT make threatening statements toward one 700Level.com users wife, thereby scaring her? Did you NOT threaten to show up in Philly on a gameday merely to start trouble?

It may have been harmless fun to YOU, idiot, but we don't exactly live in a day and age where you can trust that a stranger on an internet board isn't a psycho murderer.
