not to sound too beer snobby, but does this place have any decent beer on tap? (read: NOT Coors lite - no offense Dean-o)
I'm considering losing my level anonymity.

Kinda like a coming out of sorts? j/k
I can see it already, Dino on one end of the bar screaming, "RUN THE EFFIN' BALL YOU FAT BASTURD" & Dean-o on the other end just grinning from ear to ear.
Nice
Dino, why did I think that you were a west coast'er? Were you out west and relocate back to the East? I don't know why I'm thinking that?

"Were you out west and relocate back to the East?" Nope, raised in Glenside now in Collegeville. And I'll only be screaming run the effin ball if they're up by two scores and Dallas is out of time outs!
Will be a game day decision - need to make sure my designated driver (wife) is willing. Too dangerous to watch a Dallas game at a bar if I'm driving...

Since no one seems to have directions to Kokomo's, could someone at least post an address and I can use google maps to find it?
I'm going to have internet access for the next 8 hours and then that's it until I get back to New York.

BTW, I will be in the Bronx tonight for the Baseball game if you and Talon feel like meeting up for a beer or 3.

I can't. I'm heading to Philly for a funeral tonight. (no one close to me, but it was a friend's dad so I'm going down there to hang out with her)

"Glenside? You a Blue Comet man"
used to go every Sunday for rockabilly. $3 Pabst & a shot - yeah man. Razorbacks drummer used to be in a couple bands with me.
"Do we have directions to Kokomo's from the Blue route?"
Get off at the I-76/Route 23 Conshy Exit. Follow signs for 23 east - you can't miss it. Right near McDonalds.

Ever since I've seen Police Academy, I tend to avoid bars with the word "Blue" in their name as a matter of personal policy.

To answer the beer on tap they have 8-10 beers on tap, thenon-foo-foo type beers I believe are Guiness, Seirra Nevada, Molson and a few others, but since I don't drink too much draft beer...
Some I'm looking to try and save roughly the three tables??? 6-9 people... I will have a few groups of friends there so I will be bouncing between groups so I will be standing through most of the game as will Seth.... so that should be be good for seating...right?

Tat,
Yeah, that should work. You're lookin at 9-10 folks plus your crew occupying their own table ( i assume the same set up ya had last wk) except rather than just 2 high tops, I'd go 3 across and that 1 behind.
Im really lookin fwd to this.
Tat, is Big John comin?

Seth, not sure if he's coming or not, and I don't know if I'll be able to get three across and then the one in the back, probably the same as last week.

Great to finally meet Tat, ENY, and good to see the rest of the guys.
To all who haven't been there, the "talent" is as good as advertised.
Shame the game was reminiscent of one of those Eagles-Dallas mid 90's playoff games.
But still a good time nonetheless.
I'm pretty banged up right now

Good to see everyone, including Mrs DEAN O (no SHOT she was the driver tonite!) and Sect. 703, an old time poster who ran into us by accident. Good stuff.
Too bad they sucked today, but as N.EAG said, good time.
Next outing = The NYG game (away).
Hope yuz all can make it.

Thanks Tat for arranging the hospitality. We had an okay time. The bar scene is a little bit out of my normal environment, however it was good seeing everyone again.
Things learned:
1.) It's hard to relax. Too many things going on at one time. Too many games to be watched, people wanting your attention. Just too busy, but that's just me.
2.) When biting into a jalapeno popper be aware that the cheese is hot which may cause a reaction to flick the right arm and knock wife’s food basket off of table.
3.) They’re not real. They can’t be. It defies gravity and goes against the integrity of the remaining structure. As hard as it was to not want to look I had to.
4.) No shot at Mrs. Dean-o getting behind the wheel for the trip home. “All I had was two drinks, … and I didn’t even finish the second one! I’m just not used to going out in bars!” Well, she called me this morning after waking up, … she said and I quote, “Things still appear a little fuzzy, but they’re not as double as they were last night. Oh, … did I cheer for the other team that one time at the beginning of the Eagles game?” Umm, yes dear, you did.
5.) It was good to meet Section 703. Nice enough guy with several stories to exchange.
6.) Nov. 11th is a possibility. We’ll see. By that time all the barroom stink should be completely gone from my clothing.
