In the past this has been a really good time. Last couple years, attendance has dipped somewhat- looks like a possible return to form this yr.

Hope that in the next 2 wks we can put together a solid tailgate.

Usually when I tell you bout a level event- ala a Bergeys run etc, it's "I dont want to committ to anything early, I may just ____"
So I figured I would wait til it neared.

What time does this shindig begin?

I wanna be up there and INSIDE for the full contact hittin drill that begin at 830 am.

I havent done that in yrs, usually arriving for the lunch tailgate and then maybe headin into the afternoon (245) non contact walk thru/passing drills/special teams stuff.


I think I'll get up there early (Scotty usually does as well) and I'll save some spots in teh usual place. ED i think is goin early as well.

Take in the AM practice, then the tradition of settin up the tailgate whilest Local Host Scotty collects and grabs a keg or cases to put in tubs with ice.

I think we're goin to have a bunch of folks so maybe keg works? I dunno.

I would have to wager that it won't be as exciting as you'd think. I've hung out with AE and Talon (separately) several times, and none of the "hot button" issues ever came up.

Johnny took the brunt of it that day....all I had was a scraped knee and seriously sore quads & ribs the day after.

If you're there in time for the 8:30 AM practice you might be lucky enough to see Buckhalter's season ending injury.

A couple of friends and I made plans to head to Lehigh on the 29th, before I read this thread. We're heading up for the 8:45 as well.

Never been to Lehigh. Where is "the usual place"? How early do you need to be to beat traffic? Parking? Appreciate any info...

They wont let you onto campus before 6:30.
