It all went downhill after I kicked NEAG in the balls by accident. I also might have jinxed the Eagles by saying "no fucking way he's making this field goal" as they were lining up to kick.

Shit.

Well, my girl and I had a great time anyway. Nice to meet everyone. Let's do it again soon.

Yeah, that was fun. Plus I learned something new, I never realized that the point of a sports bar is to be able to see your home team in 47 different shapes and colors, depending on the size and tint of each TV.

Brutal.

That was brutal. And before I go on about that joint, lemme say that it was really cool seein everyone again, and meetin SzR and his gal.

Also good to see THE Section 703, who I watched the majority of the 1st half and part of the 3rd with. Knew I recognized him and he didnt even know we'd be there that day. Lucky break.

Now for the bad:
The bar has gone straight to hell and I will not grace that dump with my presence ever again.

EVER.

The patrons are questionable, and brutal with their provincial interests. The TVs are crap, the menu's changed to the point where nothing is safe to eat. My last time in that dump.

The service is borderline, and the fact that you had to shout to talk to people at your table, cos a bunch of corderoy jacket wearing, Metrosexuals are screaming, slamming things and gettin WAY too excited ALL DAY about a hunting video game parked right under the big screen seals the deal.

If people are interested in another level get together either this yr or goin forward, I'd propose an alternate location. The 202 Hooters may be a good start. Birds on the big screen and 8 other games on the TVs around it already makes it a better spot.

Good to see everyone, Bergey's sucks. Grudog owns Fat Andy. Im done.

Nice to meet a bunch of you finally. By the way, I sat at the bar most of the game and the service I got from the hot asian bartender was great. Bergey's RULES. hehe.

That big screen TV sucked. I think all the smoke in there must have turned it yellow.

Still, I didn't have a bad time.

I wonder how much money those guys had on that hunting game, and they must have been better then GGB and I posting Golden Tee scores that you only see from the old farts at Augusta who won the Masters in 1949 and still use their exemption today.

I had a very good time, as I always do, but I am with Seth on most of his points. I didn't think the service was terrible, but that Asian girl at the bar IS very good, as we've had her before. I just don't get the setup in there at all. Why have a big HD plasma all the way up there if it is going to be yellow? And the other TVs are spaced so that you are constantly turning your head. Or at least until someone sitting there turns it to the Birds game, that is, then it's much easier. Seth, problem with Hoots is I don't think it's all that centrally-located for everyone.

Nobody seems to have an issue with it for the NFL Draft. We usually get a good turnout- but that could be cos its a 1x a yr thing? I dunno.

I was tryin to think of somewhere that has ALL The games and its not up to the patrons to decide what goes on which TV- that was just horrendous yesterday.

WSAH is not good cos its too cramped as it is.

BWW is good for pre set TVs with all the games but its in a terrible location. TOTALLY inconsiderable. Only other chain i could think of is Hoots.

I've always been Kokomo's/Bergey's biggest supporter, but after observing the service and patronage yesterday, even I might be willing to try a different location next time.

Good times though. Good to meet you, SZR, Dino, and good to see everyone else again.

Thanks for the credit, NEAG, but the Washington-Indy game took a little away from the 3-0 start...

100% agree with you there, Seth. I have NEVER been to a sports bar that allowed the customers to manually change the channel. That was absolutely absurd.

I forgot to say that Fox and Hound on 15th and Spruce has all the games on nice flat-screens and they run a fairly tight ship, although the food and beverage service is mediocre and it'll be crowded and expensive. No stupid fkn deer hunting video games to distract ya, though. And it would make mine and NEAG's life a lot easier, so there's that to consider.

That IS rough. I lucked into a local bar with a good mix of fans, lots of TVs, and good drink and food specials. I don't think people want to meet in central Jersey, though.

Manual TV changes on the games? That's enough to yank the "sports" out of the sports bar definition. This local place (again, lucky me) will swap channels, but ONLY if utterly no one is watching that TV (at their discretion, not a drunk asshat and his pushy friends).

At any rate...I await the tailgate thread for this weekend's game. I have tickets and will be there. In recent years, that hasn't often been the case.

Good timing.

This is the last "Level" tailgate of the reg. season it appears.

Seems of all the regular users of this site with season tix, are done for the reg. season after this one.

actually, i intend to be at every game the rest of the yr, but as you know, 1pm tailgates are near impossible for me after working 12-14 hrs nearly every sat.

what about center city, i'm sure NEAG and SZR have some places in mind, we all just need parking. isnt there a few places in delaware county too, off the blue route somewhere so that its kinda central for most.

living 25 miles from A.C. i'm gonna drive a distance no matter where we go, so it makes no diff to me.
