Wednesday and still not a word about the first Gate of the year?!

We'll get there as early as we can. Probably around 8:00 am. Planning to leave our area by around 6:00.

Nugget, FEF, you guys got the grill?

What are people making? I was thinking of doing something like a Jamaican jerk pork tenderloin, but I don't know if the grill has enough power to cook it. I seem to remember it used to have problems getting hot enough.

Of course, I could always bring the old Buffalo Chicken Dip standby.

i have been there several times in the past, once i even had several quarts of homemade salsa to take home with me. the longtimers here will understand. sun. 1pm tailgates are tough for me cause i work usuaully around 13-14 hrs on sats, til around midnight or so. not easy getting up early on sun am after that, and when i stop at the gates, i like to spend some time, not just a few mins.

am hoping to be at the tailgate for MNF in 2 1/2 wks and at the level outing at Bergeys/Kokomos for the bucs game.

Kyle and I spoke, says he is likely bringin Burgers, and his brother is comin with him (youve all met him before).

me and the bro in law will be there around 8ish. bringing burgers and dogs....may bring some sort of chips. you better bring your 'A' game for cornholio!

DGB- since GangGreen also said he would be bringing hot dogs along with burgers, sounds like we're covered there. Would you be able to grab an initial supply of lates, napkins, plasticware & a sleeve or 2 of cups?

Talon, im also uncertain as to the old grill's power, so perhaps the 'old stand by' is the way to play it- at least for this wk's opener?

normally we do something grill-able, but seeing your last post, we'll look at something else. I'll talk to Dave tonight.

Mike- we'll have a grill, just not sure if its powerful enuff to cook a pork loin in a decent amount of time.

Oh, … very important; Since I usually only pack seven beers the routine is to inconspicuously sneak over to Seth’s cooler and heist the eighth beer and an additional one for the road. (He won’t miss it. For the past two years he thinks that he’s been drinking eighteen beers at the tailgates when in fact he’s only been downing sixteen. That’s my way of looking out for him so he doesn’t drink too much!)
