Is it too early to start this thread?
Are we scoping a new spot? Are we expecting a turnout of the regulars? Dave and I will be relatively late; we are leaving MD at around 3:00. Won't get to Gate until about 4:30 - 5:00

I'm coming with my Dad. If I take Monday off, I plan on firing up the smoker the night before and arriving with a freshly smoked 11-pound shoulder for pulled pork.

I'm coming from MD also, planning on being in the parking lot between 8 and 9am. I've got my 2000 pennies counted out to pay for parking too!

Dont know about the spot- some of us are supposed to be hittin the lot around 2pm, we'll scout it out, use cell #s.
EEB- give yours to the guys here at CONTACT US and I'll ring ya when I know where we're at.
There SHOULD be a grill, Im waitin to confirm that with Nugget.
Im goin to bring Kabobs if thats the case.
Who else is bringin what?

I should note that the pulled pork will be contingent on the weather this weekend. If the weather winds up being rainy on Saturday, the play I'm doing will probably be pushed back to Sunday, so that may kill my shot at smoking a pork shoulder for 18 hours.
If that's the case, I'll be making the good ol' buffalo chicken dip, and I'm sure no one will cry about that.

seth...the kabobs were outstanding, and i'm normally not a kabob eater.
talon...everyone i'm sure told you how good the pulled pork and especially the sauce was. the fact that you had guys lining up for a 2nd sandwich was proof.
if BD and section showed up after 7:15PM, sorry i missed them. made a bathroom run, got caught in a long line and never made it back. ( all that diet pepsi..he he )
as long as the birds arent 0-8 at the time, i think a level outing for the vikes game, in manhattan, would be cool. we should start getting a feel for who would be in real soon so travel plans can be made. ( train/cars )

im in for Eagles/Vikes at Talon's joint in NYC.
I had a great time at the gate, great seein everyone, really a good time. Tons of good food, including the best single item ive ever eaten down there, that bein the pulled pork sandwhich with Talon's homemade Carolina Sauce.
Bangin.
This may be all we have to look fwd to this yr, maybe...
