unhappy, scowling S736 kicks a can and a couple rocks outside the Dean O residence, eventually shuffles up the sidewalk with the rest of the gang in tow, down 1 man, headin to the playground for the day.

"quite honestly I haven’t reached football mode"
that's sad--i'm sorry
one of our affiliates is in Allentown. Bitch wrote me today: '...I thought of you the other day when my son came home with a football signed by Brian Dawkins, Ike Reese,
Todd Pinkston and Mark Bartosic. Have you been there yet? They said there
were 10,000 people there yesterday.'
Coulda killed her.

So am i the only guy bringing food? I wont have ALL THAT many ribs- someone else gonna bring grub since Tattoo bailed?
Scotty, to be honest, I dont think a keg will be nesecary. We have only a small gathering this time. NOt sure if HULK is going.
GGB will be joining me tho.
Menu? Scotty- is it cheaper to just get a couple of cases of bottles, throw em on ice?
Of course people can help defer the cost en leiu of food costs.
Lemme know- and we'll need a meeting time ( ONE WOULD SUSPECT EARLEEEEEE if we're gonna get our spot this year!)

I'm definitely thinking cases on ice. I'll still bring the tub for tailgate effect.
I'll run after the morning session. Tattoo won't be there this year so we won't have anyone boozing before the morning session. (heh, heh)
That way we can also make our beer choice based on who is present.
I'd like to throw out a robust...
AAAAAAHHHHHBBBBOOOOOOO!
to EagleDude and F-Dallas. I know they're somewhat local. We'd love to have you guys there.

I thought I mentioned chili. Did I say that? 'Cause I got a big-ass pot in my kitchen that I can get rid of...
You want other stuff? I'm doin' a food run 2morrow PM. I don't do crepes outdoors. Gnats get in the batter.
I trust GGB's bringing the cigars for littering purposes.

Anyone else feel free to chime in.
Cell #s will be vital.
Given the crowds this yr, do we have some locals who can get
"OUR SPOT" early enuff to secure a tailgate ?
Im pickin GGB up at 730ish, so we'll meet yaz on the inside via cell #s.

I was up there on Tuesday and our spot is typically one of the last to fill in because everybody tries to park close (Gotta love the lazy folk). We don't have to be there at an ungodly hour but prompt arrival couldn't hurt. I'll see what I can do but I don't want to be the only moe sitting there by myself so don't take the scenic route!
So... Hooky. You're coming with EagleDude? Does this mean sans family?
Is anyone else bringing family? Spouse? Children? I don't want to have the only kids there especially without the Dean-o clan not making it this year.

Yes, alas, GGB has been coaxed into attending. Unfortunately, I don't anticipate seeing Charles Rogers, Roy Williams, Kevin Jones, or Joe-EEEEE Harrington there.
Is there anything I can/should bring? Suggestions appreciated I have 8 big beers and a shot of Rumple clouding my ability to think at the moment.

I can bring juice, sodas, chips, etc./whatever can be bought at Giant and doesn't need cooked.
Cups, napkins, plates, and things.
And of course, I'll contribute to defray the food cost of whatever else is brought.

It would be worth going just to boo this guy. I've seen what happens when Seth and this guy are in the same room, and it's worth seeing again.

Continued from the "Unreal Training Camp" thread in the 'Bleeds...
For shame F-dallas! Choosing the G-String Grille over Hooligan's chilli. And, WOW dude! You just got married... finishing up your bachelor party or something?
Thanks to all who could make it. Seth, Hooky, GlennGoBlue, PennEagle, EagleDude, Green Hooligan (and hubbo). It's always great to see you guys.
We missed some guys this year from previous years... Dean-o, DirtyGreenBird, Eagle-In-DC, uber, Airborne Eagle, Tattoo. Sorry you guys couldn't make it... maybe next year.
This year was a small gathering but still nice. Green Hooligan saved the day with some outstanding chilli and all the fixings - Thanks so much!
PennEagle it was great to meet you... hope to see you again soon.

DGB, I took my son (6 years old) to his first training camp this year and much to my delight he loved it.
He doesn't even watch the games with me yet (Maybe a play or two) so I was apprehensive about taking him there.
But when we got there I think he liked the energy of the crowd and he liked watching McNabb. And with the red practice jersey it made it easier for him to spot Donovan.
It was definitely a good experience for me too and made this camp all the more special.
I'm considering taking him to a pre-season game.

Johnson, I think that's a great idea, IF he doesn't handle it well, no big deal after the 1st teamers there isn't much to watch unless you're into watching how certain players fit in, then you leave. It's a long ride but you won't miss anything to important. And IF he really likes it, then during away games you may have a new budy to watch the games with, and at 6 years old that will be years of molding him into the perfect Eagles fan, start him early...
