We have full access to the oven (commercial grade).
We have access to a steam table (two slots for heating, half trays = four things heated).
We have two sterno heaters (four half trays, if wanted).
Miller Lite on tap.
Game room separate from party room, but not "a world away, just the next room."
No additional hookup for TV that the guy knows of.
Early arrival to setup is okay.

Directions
From 95:
95 to Exit 3 (Rt 1)
Exit 3 is for Media/Swarthmore.
Take Rt 1 SOUTH through Media
Route 1 picks up the name "Baltimore Pike"
Turn LEFT onto Brook Street
At the intersection is "Dean Keys Twoing." Guy says it's big and impossible to miss. There are signs at the intersection for the VFW.
Take Brook Street to the end. There will be signs and you can't miss it (he famously says).
From Turnpike:
Valley Forge Exit (old exit 24, new exit God knows what)
202 SOUTH to US Rt 1 (same road as above)
US 1 NORTH to Media.
Turn RIGHT onto Brook Street.

Sorry I can't make it guys but thought I'd throw my two cents in. How much would it cost to rent a big screen TV and add it into the total cost?

I seriously think we're okay with TVs, Seth. Two 27" TVs, suspended on brackets provides plenty of viewing. There are two more TVs in the bar area, as well. I don't think the extra TV will matter, but suit yourself.

Good info.
I would not mind rentin the b-screen, but then you gotta worry bout transport (safely) and returning it- depending how much it costs I think we could consider it- but people I figured might be "in" are not coming (Jerobi, F Dallas, Eagle in DC, ENY, to name a few) so I think of those attending we can look into the expense and decide.
AE- I think Dean had a great idea - bring my TV and get a splitter & cable so we can have a tube at EYE level without havin to strain the neck lookin up. No?
If people are interested in the big screen, lemme know.

At this point maybe instead of renting an eye level big screen TV we could just purchase 32 Lazy-Boy recliners for the adults and recline back to watch the game. Ergonomically encouraged, less strain on the neck.
We wouldn't have to leave our seats and we could use the littler kids as roving end tables to serve hors d'oeuvres and stuff.
Just a thought.

I could bring a video projector from work, pretty simple you run the cord from video out to the projector and it has pretty good quality, the only problem it is still a projector so the room has to be fairly dark...
I am also working on getting commemorative cups for this get together... Holographic Eagles cups... offical NFL merchandise... pretty cool, the company right next to mineis making them and we've helped them out pcking them up so I'm trying to see about getting 40-50 of them for the party...

I kind of wish I was going to be able to go. I would like to meet you guys. Just a suggestion, since the game is at 6:00 and I am sure you all will arrive much earlier, go out and get (if you don't already have) the Complete History of the Philadelphia Eagles DVD and watch in on the projector. The second disk alone (tribute to Vet/Fans)makes it great, inspirational view.
HAVE FUN GUYS!

I think I am on my 10th viewing since getting for Christmas. Warning, do not watch before going to bed. Adrenalin rush prohibits sleep. But I digress (or regress if you're SAS).
Back to your party planning.....

So, is that Exit 3 in PA after crossing over from DE? Might have to keep Seth's cell close by.
I'm a little confused on the steam table/burners. Do we need to bring some trays or are they provided and we can dump the stuff in them to keep the food warm?
I might be able to pick up some burner trays at Costco if needed.
Glad we can use the oven there. Makes life easy.

Trays are included.
Just look for US Rt 1 off 95, DGB. Easier than exit numbers.

NTF!
I do not own a Lap top.
Not a TERRIBLE idea tho. Not for a running game thread, but it would be cool to read some of those posts the day after- the celebration thread, live from the party...
anyone???

Ummm....I won't be able to make it to the party because I'm already committed to an annual thing here in NYC, but I did want you guys to look over those directions again.
I'm from Swarthmore, and I'm fairly certain that these directions are missing a vital step. You need to exit I-95 on to I-476 (the Blue Route) towards Plymouth Meeting. THEN you take exit 3 for Rt. 1 to Media.
AE, you need to call the place to verify this because I'm pretty sure everyone is gonna be really lost if they're looking for Rt. 1 off of I-95.
FYI, the I-476 exit is pretty close to the Delaware border. I think it may be the second or third exit.

The menu list looks like this so far:
Lasagne or Ziti- AE
Buffalo Wings and Blue Cheese- S736
Crap dip and Cupcakes- Chicklet
Meatballs in red gravy/sauce- Keith Byars
Mac and Cheese- DGB
Cold Cuts and Rolls, condiments- Hulk
Taco Dip and chips- BirdDroppings
Marinated Beef Dish- Uber
Hot Dogs, Chkn Tenders, Fries- Mrs. Dean O
SauerKraut for his hot dogs- Dean O
*Don’t sit behind Dean during the game folks!
BBQ Ribs in sauce- T Saints Fan
We will still need plenty of non alcoholic beverages like soda, juices etc.
We will also need ample paper supplies like plates, utensils, napkins.
Just tossin out ideas to those who haven't an idea what to bring or to bring in addition to what they are bringing.

Are you saying that Valley Forge Exit is Rt. 202 South?
Also, anybody know if you can connect to Baltimore Pike from 476 South?
These directions from the Turnpike sound familiar to those we got for the Draft party at Hooters in Concord.

Yes. I used to live 1/4 mile from there, right across the street from the KoP Hooters.
