As you know, the NFL draft is fast approaching so here is the info. ya need if you wanna attend.

Date: Saturday, April 23rd.

The location: Concordville Hooters, Rt. 202 and Rt.1 in PA.

Arrival time: Doors open at 11, Draft starts @ noon.

Amenities: There are drink specials at Hooters as well as there being a bar attached to Hooters, FIRE WATERS, serving up shots and mixed drinks unavailable at Hooters for those that want them.

The draft will be on the Big screen, and surrounding the big screen are 6 27' inch TVs that will be featuring every MLB game being played, - they have the Direct TV Package to carry all the games.

It's PA, so it's a smokers paradise.

They are located in the bottom of a hotel that some of us are planning on taking advantage of that evenning- no sense trying to drive anywhere. If you are interested in sharing/getting a room, contact me via CONTACT US feature on the site or through my e mail addy if you have it already. I should have the rate info., and @ 2 guys to a room, 2 twin beds per rm, it'd be quite cost effective.

as a j/a that can' t make it, I'd say that I'm jealous of those that can. If you're riding the fence, take the plunge, you won't regret it. Just be wary if S-736 says anything about a 2-on-2 game in the parking lot. I think Johnson's still picking the gravel outta his ass as a result of the last contest. BTW, I'd be picking the same gravel if I actually had an ass...

My situation? I'm knee deep in room refinishing (wallpaper removal, patch, sand, paint, replace light) and a small flurry of freelance projects (hence the lack of site updates) AND we're planning a birthday party for my son on the 7th. (The day the room needs to be finished)

Does my situation sound like that of a guy who can afford to piss away a day drinking, eating and watching Seth have his hopes dashed as the Birds make another bewildering selection in the draft? (That reaction when they took Andrews while D.J. Williams was still on the board was priceless)

If I can make it to this thing... I'm thinking most of you can too.

As I told Seth earlier I am in the midst of my Companies consolidation/move so me getting out of weekend work for fun is tough, but my plan is to show up at some point, and then attempt to catch up to all on consumption...

Hulk, if you can find the intersection of 202 and 1 in Chadds Ford/Concordville, Pa you are there. You live in Jersey, correct? I think the best way for you would be to take whatever bridge is convenient(avoid the powerful temptation to stop and jump) to get on 95 South. Take 95 South to the 322 exit towards West Chester. It's a double exit for Highland Ave but just stay to the left to catch 322. Take 322 all the way up to where it has a soft T intersection w/ Route 1, probably about 8 miles or so. Make the left onto route 1 and 202/Hooters will be on your left about 2 miles down. You will need to make some sort of U-turn to get there from route 1 south but I think even a Temple grad can probably handle it.

Sounds like fun but I`m in the process of "summerizing" the house, painting, planting, landscaping etc. so my weekends are pretty busy until mid-May.

I'd be willing to organize something. I know tickets are easy to get, and I'm down there enough as it is, so why not? Lamentably, no Mets/Phillies games on the weekends this year.
