I'm officially out. I've got a bachelor party in York that I forgot about and I have the wedding the weekend after, so I'm fucked both weekends.

I'm going to do whatever I can to make the 13th, though, if anyone is making a repeat trip.

I also just found out I have field passes/VIP tent passes for August 4th. I don't have all the details, but supposedly the meals/drinks are included and a player or two has lunch with you (about 25 people in the tent, I think).

I can't wait to see what superscrub they throw in there.

I’m really looking forward to this.

Mrs. AE and the boys will be there. Oldest, 4, will be sporting his new #81 Owens jersey. Believe me, the temperament is about the same (not sure who that reflects more poorly on).

I’m going to bring a case of the O’Douls Amber and Mrs. AE will bring some dish…I’m really not involved in that part, for Irish reasons.

I think it took me 1 hr, 45 minutes to get there last year. First practice starts around 8:45. Probably show up between 9 and ten.

Whomever arrives first, start staking out the territory. Same place as years prior?

I am shooting on being there roughly between 10 and 11, since I work Friday night until close and have yet to get out of there until 4-4:30 I doubt I will make it any earlier...

For some reason I have the feeling I'll be there first. I'll spread out as much stuff as I have (little).

I don't think we'll have any problem with our usual spot when no veterans will be there. Should be a light crowd, better for the kids.

Weather looks to be good.

The family and I will be arriving between 9-10.

We all have cell phones so we should be able to connect in or outside.

"some dish" by Mrs. AE. Cool. I like surprises.

I know DGB cant bring any grub. Methinks we'll bring some sorta dessert thingie as well as some marinated chicken breasts and rolls for some slammin chkn breast sandwhiches.

If I can find a grocery store on the way in, I'll pick up something. Dogs - Burgers, sumthin.

I don't know if I'll be staying for 2nd practice. Depends on how the boy does. Not exactly good napping spots for kids out there.

I'll be there bright and early. I want to see the entire morning session.

I'll bring a grill, a tub and some beer. We may have to run out for some ice.

I should know by tomorrow what Mrs. AE will bring. Shopping day.

My guess may be pasta salad.

"No" to the pasta salad. The older one would never eat it and the younger one isn't a big fan of carbs.

So, we're bringing lunchmeat and rolls, a fruit and/or vegetable tray, and non-cola drinks. I'm bringing a case of O'Douls Amber.

Gonna bring some outdoor games (inflatable soccer net and oversized soccer ball, football and kicking tee, maybe horseshoes - I have an electric weedwhacker to trim the grass down to the ground and the truck has an AC port).

The big surprise will be ready by the weekend, but won't make the trip.

It was a good day--nice weather, the level and the first taste of football--nice.

Plus, Johnson, DGB's son and myself made the news (sorry Seth)--now we can compare ourselves to the DTC.

holla

That was great! Good to see everyone, perfect weather, no hittin' but fun to see em out there nontheless.

McNabb looks to be in tip top shape and apparently Buckhalter has a limp when trotting or walkin around. Not running tho, per Scotty, but all other forms of gettin around he's got a noticeable "wes hopkins shuffle" goin on. Super.

Scotty, Rob and Lil DGB make the news. Next time take a pg from the DTC and co-ordinate your wardrobes- you both had on the home white.

Holla.
